Brooko (Paul Brookes). I’m a Birmingham-based artist. Fueled by a career in advertising, I found freedom in the art world, creating playful visual stories through collage. Primarily inspired by the rich tapestry of vintage graphic elements from 40s–60s pop culture, I deconstruct and recontextualize them into meticulous compositions, making playful and thought-provoking collages and mixed-media works.

Louise Brookes. I create expressionist abstract landscapes using gestural brushstrokes and a palette knife to build depth, rhythm, and texture. My work is less about representing a place and more about expressing its atmosphere — the fleeting light, the quiet intensity, the emotions it stirs. Each painting is an exploration of how landscape and memory intertwine, capturing not just what we see, but what we feel.
